Hello out there!
If you've wandered here, you're probably interested in babies in some fashion or another. That's what this blog is about. I've wanted to be a mother for as long as I can remember. I don't think I ever considered not being one. Since my husband and I were married the first of January 2010, my desire has kicked into overdrive. I became obsessed with my uterus in ways I'd never thought of before. I read way more books about pregnancy than a woman who isn't pregnant and not going into the medical field ever should. I drove my poor husband crazy because I was incapable to talking about anything else. I pretty much went insane.
I'm much better about this now, but I know there are other women who feel the same way. You want to have a baby like, yesterday. I also know that there are others out there, dreaming of when they have their first baby, and becoming outraged when you hear about how many unborn babies are simply "disposed of" every year when you have to wait a long time, or can't have children at all.
That's what this blog is about. It's a place where I can share my dreams and frustrations about all things baby, including the difficult, hotly-debated issues like abortion, adoption and the rights of women to have natural births on their (reasonable) terms. I hope others will join me in discussing the incredible miracles that children are and find encouragement that you aren't alone in your baby mania.
